How ZUVVA works in real life

ZUVVA quietly maps the trust between people who already know each other, so the right person can be found within three degrees of separation. Here are the everyday moments it's built for.

Real-life use cases

  1. 1. Finding a reference in a faraway city
  2. 2. Building your starter network
  3. 3. Getting urgent help
  4. 4. Finding local trusted help
  5. 5. Private Circles for family and community
  6. 6. Trust that outlives you
  7. What ZUVVA will never do
  8. More help

1. Finding a reference in a faraway city

You live in Vijayawada. Your niece is moving to Paris for graduate school and you want to know someone there who can keep a friendly eye on her — a doctor, a senior, a fellow Indian family.

Strangers on the internet are still strangers. A 5-star Google review of a clinic in Paris isn't the same as a friend's friend saying “Yes, Pierre is a good doctor — I've sent my own mother to him.”

Open ZUVVA, type “Paris” in the search bar on the home screen, and the app traces every path from your contacts to people who live there. Up to three degrees away — your contacts, their contacts, and theirs again. You see exactly who bridges the trust, so the introduction asks itself.

If a path exists, ZUVVA shows it: You → Priya (Mumbai) → Pierre (Paris). If Priya is willing, she introduces you in two taps. No cold messages. No platform algorithm deciding who you should know.

2. Building your starter network

On day one, your ZUVVA globe is empty. That's expected — the people you trust haven't connected with you here yet.

ZUVVA is designed to grow from your own circle outwards. You invite around 50 people you actually know — your family, a handful of close friends, your closest colleagues — and ZUVVA does the rest. As each of them joins and invites their own 50, the network doesn't double; it multiplies. Fifty contacts at the second degree becomes 2,500 reachable people. At the third degree, more than 100,000.

That third degree is the magic number. By all available research, almost anyone you need in life is within three degrees of someone you already trust. ZUVVA simply makes that web visible to you.

You don't need to publish, post, or perform. Just bring in the people you'd already help yourself. The rest follows.

3. Getting urgent help — SOS

Something goes wrong. A medical scare, an accident, a daughter stranded somewhere uncomfortable. The first instinct is always to call a known person. But the right person isn't always the one you remember to call.

ZUVVA's SOS button broadcasts a single alert to everyone in your trust network who is in your current city, up to three degrees away. They see your category (Medical, Accident, Stranded, Harassment), your message in one line, and your GPS pin. They tap Help if they can come, Relay to pass the alert into their own network, or Decline if they can't.

The moment someone says they can help, a private chat opens between you and them so you can coordinate the next five minutes. No phone tree. No public broadcast. Just the people you'd already trust to come.

SOS is rate-limited to one event every 30 days per person — by design. We want it to be unmistakably real every time it fires.

4. Finding local trusted help

The kitchen tap is leaking. The school is asking for a Sanskrit tutor. The car battery is dead and you're due at a wedding in two hours. None of these are emergencies, but all of them want someone good — fast.

ZUVVA gives you two ways. Search by what you need (“plumber”, “Sanskrit tutor”, “mechanic, Vijayawada”) and see who in your three-degree network matches. Or post the request on your private Billboard, where your circles see it and can respond with the name of someone they trust.

Both routes do the same thing — they replace the random Google search with the warmer, more accurate question: does anyone we trust know someone good?

5. Private Circles for family and community

A family of forty cousins across three cities. A building society of seventy flats. A Rotary chapter. An alumni batch. These groups already exist in your life — they meet on WhatsApp, on phone calls, at weddings. But none of those tools make their trust web visible.

A Circle on ZUVVA does. Each Circle is private and invite-only. Posts, requests, and member rosters stay inside the Circle and never leak elsewhere. You can search within a Circle, chat as a group, or send a Circle-only post to the Billboard.

For families, Circles capture the threads of relationship that usually only an elder remembers. For clubs and societies, they turn the regular roster into a working network. For religious or educational groups, they create a small, sealed help loop without forcing every member into a noisy public app.

6. Trust that outlives you

ZUVVA is a network you build over decades. The connections you seed in your forties become a gift to your children in their forties. So the platform is built with continuity in mind.

You can designate Trusted Delegates — usually a spouse, an adult child, or a sibling — who can act on your behalf if you cannot. If something serious happens, a delegate notifies ZUVVA, and your account goes into a 30-day cooling-off period before any change becomes permanent. This mistake-proofing protects you when you're still alive; it protects your family when you're not.

When an account is memorialised, a dignified marker preserves your contribution. Your name and your network presence remain visible to the people you trusted, for as long as they want it. The Circles you started continue under the co-admins you chose. Trust persists.

What ZUVVA will never do

  • No public profiles. Your information is visible only to people in your trust network.
  • No advertising. Ever.
  • No selling your data to anyone, in any form, ever.
  • No anonymous reviews or open ratings.
  • No public “follow” or “like” counts.
  • No invitation messages sent in your name without your explicit action.

Phone numbers are hashed before they leave your device, so we never store your raw contact list. Location is captured only when you actively compose an SOS event, never in the background. You can delete your account anytime — fully — with a 30-day grace period to change your mind. The details of every promise are in our Privacy Policy.
